We are seeking a skilled and experienced Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of Heavy Duty Trucks. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical knowledge, efficiency, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a wide range of heavy-duty trucks.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine systems.
Complete work orders accurately and efficiently.
Conduct safety and CVIP inspections (if certified).
Collaborate with other technicians and shop managers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Stay current with manufacturer updates and best practices.
Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician Certification – Required
Commercial Vehicle Inspector (CVIP) Certification – Asset
Minimum 3 years experience working on heavy-duty trucks and equipment.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools and software (e.g., Cummins Insite)
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 an asset).
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Up to $50/Hour Based on Experience
7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday to Friday (Weekends Available)
